AIKIDO
AIKIDO is the path or way of blending energies. Whatever comes into your life is neither good nor bad, just an opportunity to utilize the incoming energy. It is the most aerobic art between the arts of Aikido, Tai Chi, and Yoga. Practice consists of partners switching roles. The uke attacks and is neutralized by nage. After 4 attacks, roles are reversed. It is nage's role/duty to protect uke while at the same time playing/neutralizing/utilizing the incoming force. There are lots of rolling. Imagine running full force into a revolving door or a turnstile or perhaps trying to push a ball floating on water down below the surface. That's what an aikido encounter might feel like.
